SSI announce the appointment of Ms NONYAMEKO (NYAMI) MANDINDI to the position of CEO. She takes over the position vacated by Naren Bhojaram, who has been appointed Regional Director Africa for the DHV Group.
Nyami joined SSI on 1 December 2011 from Nedbank where she was Head of Strategy - Property Finance.

She graduated with a BSc (Quantity Surveying) from the University of KwaZulu Natal (then University of Natal) and has completed various Leadership Development programmes, including that from the London Business School. 

Nyami’s leadership career began with 10 years as a partner and managing director of the QS firm Letchmiah Daya Mandindi (LDM), following four years with two listed construction companies.  In her capacity as MD and through establishing and building the Johannesburg office of LDM, the business grew to join the ranks of the Top 5 QS firms in the country.
She joined Intersite Property Management Services as the CEO for a period of four years, during which time she was the recipient of the 2007 Women’s Property Network Five Star Award, which recognises women leaders in the Property Sector.  She joined Nedbank, following a short time with the City of Johannesburg as the Deputy Project Manager for the BRT Unit and has served on several corporate boards as a non-executive director.
